Another nice project from Clarion Events, and this time I got to do the logo too. Classic Bikes is part of the enormous Classic Motor Show at the NEC, and in 2009 really needed its own identity.

The content of the event might be vintage, veteran and ancient, but I needed to make sure that the marketing material avoided looking dated and clichéd. Bikes, no matter what their age, are all about raising the hair on the back of your neck after all…

Again, the scope of print advertising, email newsletters, website etc for Classic is such that it’s impossible to do the typical thing of describing the ‘360 degree solution that would incentivise the demographic with appropriate calls to action’.

But a nice blend of clean design with a retro flavour, working across a variety of platforms pretty much sums it up.
